"I sometimes think that the act of bringing food is one of the basic roots of all relationships". I was reflecting today how easy it is to prepare a meal to share with others when you heart is open and relaxed. The feeling of generosity just seems to naturally arise. It doesn't seem to matter then how fancy or plain the meal is - to the giver, or the receiver! A simple meal offered with loving kindness already has that special ingredient."
